HPH Painting & Decorating was delighted to carry out the internal decorating works at Middlesbrough FC Foundation's new facility in East Cleveland. It is a building designed to give local young people and families a positive place to meet, take part in activities and access new opportunities for years to come.
A Project With Real Community Value
Some commercial projects are about a fresh look for a workplace. This one was about helping to create a space that the whole community will use. The Foundation's new East Cleveland facility will host activities and events for local people, so the finish needed to look welcoming on day one and stand up to busy, everyday use.
For us, that is what makes a job like this worthwhile. It is about more than decorating. It is about helping to create spaces that bring communities together and make a lasting difference.
Internal Decorating Throughout the Facility
Our work covered the interior of the new building, from the main hall and café area to the corridors and changing rooms. The main hall was finished in a calm light grey with bright white ceilings, giving the large open space a clean, modern feel that works well alongside the Foundation's red and white signage.
In the corridors and around the changing rooms, crisp white walls and woodwork keep the circulation areas light and fresh, and let the timber-effect doors and wayfinding signs stand out clearly.
New-build commercial interiors call for careful preparation and a consistent finish across large wall and ceiling areas. Keeping lines sharp around doors, frames, hatches and fittings is what gives a finished building that polished, ready-to-open look.
