HPH Painting & Decorating was asked to turn a digitally created design concept into a practical, finished workspace at Bertling's offices. The original AI-generated image set out a bold direction for the interior; our job was to translate it into a commercial office painting scheme that worked in the real space.
Translating the AI Concept
The concept used strong blue feature walls, branded columns and diagonal stripe detailing to carry Bertling's visual identity through the office. We studied those elements alongside the company's existing exterior branding, then planned how the proportions and lines would sit across the actual walls and structural columns.
Bringing a digital visual into a working office requires more than copying an image. Every detail has to respond to the dimensions, lighting and surfaces on site while still preserving the character of the original design.
Accurate RAL Colour Matching
To establish the blue palette, we prepared and compared a range of RAL colour samples. This allowed the different shades to be judged together and checked against Bertling's branding before decoration began.
Careful setting out was equally important. The contrasting stripes and large diagonal wall graphic depended on crisp edges, balanced spacing and consistent widths. Accurate masking and a controlled application produced the clean lines the scheme required.
Decorating a Live Commercial Office
The work was completed in a live commercial environment, so the programme had to account for Bertling's day-to-day operations. We kept the workspace organised and worked methodically to minimise disruption while maintaining a consistent finish across the feature walls and columns.
The completed office closely reflects the original AI concept, from the layered blue palette to the distinctive diagonal detailing. The result is a professional, strongly branded workspace that shows how an ambitious digital idea can be delivered successfully through skilled commercial painting and decorating.
